TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach different kinds of animation classes and workshops. Most of my experience has been introduction courses, but I am interested in teaching more specific classes focusing on just stop motion animation, studying dance in animation, or character design/exploration/playing god.

SUMMER SESSION 2019 - 2022, COLLEGE STUDENTS AGES 19 - 22

MORPHING GIPHS

This assignment had to be drawn by hand frame by frame. This is the student’s first time drawing on a light board and drawing on proper acme animation paper. They chose two images to draw, and then had to experiment with how the morphing would be animated. They scanned in the frames and exported them as Giphs on photoshop. Because they were Giphs, they were immediately texting their animations to their friends and family.
